The press conference and the launch of Imooty.mobi has generated a lot of publicity. We have been featured in major German, Italian, Spanish and UK media outlets. These include Süddeutsche Zeitung, La Repubblica, RAI international, Intomobile and an interview with Kristoffer in the Editors Weblog
Imooty has also been invited to present at a Mobile Monday event here in Berlin. Mobile Monday is a global community of mobile industry visionaries, developers and influentials fostering cooperation and cross-border business development through virtual and live networking events to share ideas, best practices and trends from global markets.
Imooty.mobi has now launched. By creating an account, users may customize their news universe through the MyImooty section. Users can save favorite news feeds and most frequent searches for easy mobile browsing.
With quick and convenient access to a selection of topics, newspapers and blogs, users may review the latest news on any particular event, company, or person.
With this, we act to define the EU media landscape in a new way; a new definition of a common Europe and a new definition of media access. Imooty presents itself as THE platform for access to European news.
We’ve launched a general update which enables us to launch a mobile business intelligence tool. The re-launch mainly improves back-end performance of the basic press review functions and the search engine. By upgrading we also prepare for future media modules; Imooty.mobi and a Web 2.0 space for publishers allowing them to contribute archives to the press clipping services.
Imooty wants to streamline access to multimedia European news coverage on mobile phones (mobile news). The challenge is to seamlessly access multimedia content from the different sources so that users may easily read, view, listen and access the media.
To this end we’re making the MyImooty section available from Imooty.mobi. Users will be able to easily access a customized news universe on the go. The service will include an automated notification system so that the latest updates on certain topics can be communicated to users by way of customized SMS, RSS-Feeds and/or email Newsletter delivery.
